I have most of the symptoms in both low and high adrenals. I have not been tested for diabetes but suspect it.
I don’t see hot flashes in any of the categories. I am having them all day and night. I am up 3 – 4 times at night with them. When I get one, I frequently need to urinate.
I also have severe dry eye. I do warm eye packs twice a day and have tried different eye lubricants with no success.
Hi JoAnna,
Yes, with glucose concerns, that can be very difficult to navigate on your own. The good news is that the recipes are designed to help with sugar balancing. When sugar is balanced in the body, then the hot flashes will diminish. When gut healing, liver support and the sugar is balanced, many others health issues can be resolved/improved. When you join the full program, you can see how there are natural options from the world around you.
I’m enjoying your workshops. I was diagnosed with HER2 positive Inflammatory Breast Cancer almost 3 years ago. My last scan said I am clear however my doctor still has me on a hormone shot every six weeks because of the Estrogen dominance- I am interested in more information about reversing the dominance. I am vegetarian and eat a very clean diet. I currently use many natural regimens and have seen the miraculous difference in my health!
Hi Kristen,
I’m glad you are seeing a difference with a plant based diet. The beginning of the program focuses on gut healing, liver support and sugar balancing to prepare the body to begin to remove the toxic aggressive estrogen.
Warmly, Angela – Hormones Balance Team
Hello, I have Hashimoto’s Hypothryroidism and currently I take Armour Thyriod for this. Do you know how long this will take to rebalance my hormornes and what other natural types of herbs can assist in this ongoing struggle of fatigue, wieght gain and brain fog? Thank you.
Hi Jana,
The time is takes to improve is different for everyone. The full program goes into the herbs and foods that address this imbalance. The foundation of rebalancing focuses on healing the gut, supporting the liver and balancing sugar. Warmly, Deanna HB Team
Hi Magdalena, I hope your hips are healing well from your surgery! I am showing low on everything, except I am at a 7 both on Low and High Adrenals. Especially low on Estrogen (>6 on labs!) Collagen and calcium from my bones is flowing out of me at an alarming rate! And horrible hot flashes (almost pass out). Can that be balanced since I am in menopause? I just saw an Endo Dr. today and he said “Welcome to manhood”. :'(
Hi Donna,
You are working through a few frustrating issues. Is it possible to have high and low cortisol levels at the same time? ” Magdalena say “Yes! It’s not unusual in Stage II of adrenal fatigue to experience, for example low cortisol levels in the morning (this is why you need 2 cups of coffee to get you going) and high cortisol at night which can interfere your sleep as you may be feeling wired and tired.”
That was a lousy thing for the endo to say. There are many natural healing options available to you. Hot flashes and other concerns can be addressed by healing the gut, supporting the liver and balancing sugar…the full program teaches how to do this. ~Deanna HB Team
Hello
I have been diagnosed with hypothyroid, I have had partial removal, and I also have hormone imbalance. I do not wish to take pills for rest of my life, so I am in search of alternatives.
Hi Jean,
That is very understandable. The Herbs for Balance program has the foundational principals for healing the gut, supporting the liver and balancing sugar. This is all very good for thyroid healing as well. The herbs and foods she recommends to are part of the full program. Thank you for joining in the workshop.~Deanna HB Team

OMG I am so happy to find this, I went and going through the exact same things that you did 🙁 I find the modern medicine is not helping at all and going in circles, being a Guiney pig pretty much, I am so looking forward for the next series, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this! Hi C,
Yes, it is frustrating when there are no workable answers offered. However, with herbs and foods there are many options available that can make a difference in hormone health. Thank you for joining in the workshop series ~ Deanna HB Team
Hey, I just listened to part 1 and before I go on, want to ask you about H Pylor – were you able to get rid of that WITHOUT it recurring (for at least a year), and your stomach lining healed?
The rest I’ve read, heard, practiced for years, and I’ve learned about getting rid of Pylori.
But thus far I haven’t found ANYONE successful in getting rid of H Pylori permanently which creates a domino effect to many other disease, including Type 2 Diabetes, pancreatitis, gallbladder disease and more.
The antibiotic protocol is destructive and at least 80% of the time, it’s temporary.
If you have that one kicked and can show me what YOU did, I’m all in!
Hi Francie,
Magdalena did a combo of supplements designed by her integrative doctor which included mastic gum. She has not retested as yet but she is symptoms free for the past 6 months.

Hi Karen,
Thank you for your question. Reducing your pain of arthritis and losing weight require a multifaceted approach. reducing inflammation in the body is a good start. You can do this with both food and herbs. A good place to start would be the hormone quiz to determine what hormones may be at the root of the imbalance. hormonesbalance.com/quiz Flax, turmeric, nettles and licorice are herbs that Magdalena teaches about that have been used to reduce inflammation. I hope this helps.

My daughter suffers from PCOS. She is on birth control and two other meds but I don’t feel she is getting any relief or progress.
What can we do for her?
Hi Mary,
Magdalena teaches that one of the most important things to consider in dealing with PCOS is balancing insulin levels. Have you explored looking at the Cooking for Balance program? Cinnamon, Turmeric, Fenugreek and Ginger are a few herbs that help to balance blood sugar. I hope this helps.
Angela – HB Support Team
Hi Chasis,
The program covers recipes using herbs to address these hormone imbalances. Many times when the thyroid is imbalanced hair loss is common. I hope you enjoy the program.

Hi Magdalena,
Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. I feel privileged.
My adrenals are my problem. I have 5+ symptoms in both categories (low and hi). I have suffered for 20 years, sometimes far worse than others, however, no permanent relief or solutions. I am so tired of being tired.
Hi April,
You have been resilient for so long. We are very happy that you have found Magdalena and her programs. There is so much to learn about supporting the adrenals and bringing the body back to balance with food guidelines. Thank you for joining in the the Herbs for Balance workshop.~Deanna HB Team
My teenager daughter has very irregular periods along with acne on her face. She also has higher level of testosterone and A1C (5.8) which puts her in pcos category. What can she take to help her with acne and pcos issue?
PCOS or Polycystic ovary syndrome is a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the larger edges largely due to high testosterone and/or high sugar/insulin levels. Diet is key with this imbalance.
Magdalena offers more information on PCOS in the full program. The most important thing with PCOS is addressing the high blood sugar levels most women with PCOS struggle with.
I hope you enjoyed the workshop and learned lots from it! ~Deanna HB Team

Here is a link to an article of sleep hacks. https://hormonesbalance.com/articles/10-surprising-sleep-hacks-sleep-series-part-2/ Magnesium could be helpful and some people find ashwaganda to improve sleep. Hi Magdalena,
I think of you as my true sister in so many ways , because you had Graves’ first and then having to take an AntiThyroid Medication, which later on led you to develope Hashimoto’s. I would like to ask you how were you able to get off the Thyroid Blockers, because I just could not do it?
And now, when I did this chart with you here of course I have Hormonal Inbalances both High and Low in all of the 6 categories… What would be your recommendation? I already own 3 of your Programs, but the problem is that I was having very hard time to follow everything especially the Thyroid Detox Program. I am not sure how the Thyroid Detox would help if I do not have a Thyroid any longer?
Hi Marieta,
Thank you for reaching out. If you no longer have a thyroid you can still do the programs. You will need to work with your health care practitioner to balance your thyroid medications and we cannot provide advice for you on that. The program will help you detoxify your body so you can process hormones more efficiently. It will help repair your digestion, restore your liver and rid your body of sugar. Food is powerful medicine and the body is always trying to find balance. We wish you well.
Warmly, Angela HB Team
