Ingredients
  • ½ teaspoon olive oil for greasing
  • 1 teaspoon nigella sativa seeds (optional)
  • 1 ½ cups chickpea flour
  • 1 teaspoon aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 cup fresh chopped cilantro
  • ½ cup fresh chopped dill
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped oregano, leaves only
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped thyme, leaves only
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
How To Make
  1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 9-inch round pie pan with ½ teaspoon olive oil. Use a spice grinder or mortar and pestle to coarsely grind nigella seeds.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, baking powder, salt, water and olive oil. Stir in freshly chopped herbs and garlic powder.
  3. Pour into pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes at room temperature before slicing.
