Eggnog - Dairy and Egg free

- 1 ½ cups filtered water
- ⅓ heaping cup pecans
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or raw honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground Ceylon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- Pinch of sea salt
- ½ ounce rum, optional
- Place all the ingredients in the blender and whizz until smooth.
- Serve warm or cold.
